Safe working practices (10 Hrs)
1. Visit COPA Lab and locate electrical connections. 2. Identifying safety symbols and hazard identification. 3. Practice safe methods of fire fighting (electrical fire). 4. Use of fire extinguishers.
Assemble a Desktop PC (8 Hrs)
5. Identify computer peripherals and internal components. 6. Assemble components of a desktop computer.
⚙️ 2. Operating Systems (Windows, DOS, Linux)
Windows Operating Systems & Software Installation
7. Practice on Windows interface and navigating windows. 8. Manage files, folders, and removable drives. 9. Customize desktop and manage user accounts. 10. View BIOS settings and format hard disk / partitions. 11. Install Windows OS, Drivers, and application software.
DOS & Ubuntu Linux
12. Use basic DOS commands for directory listing and files. 13. Installation of Ubuntu Linux OS. 14. Use Basic Linux commands for files, folders, and passwords. 15. Use the Linux GUI for exploring the system.
